The group of companies was formed as part of a majority stake held by the investment company Gimv in Klotter Elektrotechnik GmbH.
The aim was to build a full-service provider along the entire electrotechnical value chain – from consulting and planning to engineering, manufacturing, installation, service and maintenance of complex systems.
2022
The E.GRUPPE has strategically expanded its range of services in the field of industrial electrical measurement, control, and regulation technology (E-MSR), as well as project planning and execution for industrial automation processes. The founders and shareholders of Control Mechatronics have acquired a stake in the E.GRUPPE and will provide advisory support going forward.
2025
The E.GRUPPE has significantly strengthened its market position. The LET Group – comprising LET Lüddecke, LET Services, ESV Erfurter Schaltschrankbau, and IMB Energy Systems – brings over 50 years of experience in switchgear and distribution panel construction as well as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Following the merger, the E.GRUPPE employs approximately 365 people at around 10 locations, primarily in central and southern Germany.
