Klotter is a company of the E.GRUPPE, which emerged in 2021 after the financial investor Gimv acquired a stake in Klotter Elektrotechnik GmbH.
The E.GRUPPE is a dynamically growing group of companies specializing in sophisticated and future-oriented electrical engineering.

Founded in 1997 by Werner Klotter and Roswitha Wiegert-Klotter, the company, which enjoys an excellent reputation in its industry, currently employs around 80 people. Almost 25 years after its founding, the founders handed over the management.
Klotter Elektrotechnik offers holistic solutions with integrated service and maintenance offerings in the areas of transformer station construction, industrial automation, distribution board construction and building technology.
The company has a particular focus on planning and execution in the electrical sector, maintaining high quality standards in terms of technical expertise and timely completion. Its clients include companies from a wide range of industries with whom it has long-standing business relationships.
The electrical engineering industry is expected to experience strong growth in the future, driven by energy transition technologies, increasing electrification and digitalization, and the modernization of production facilities to meet climate targets.

Trafostationen –
Individuelle Planung und Umsetzung
Our in-house team of project engineers plans the construction and renovation of transformer substations. Using specialized software, we can perform cross-brand selectivity calculations for various switchgear brands for our clients. We also conduct pressure resistance calculations according to Pigler. A precise heat demand calculation determines the subsequent ventilation of the substation.
For industry, hospitals, data centers, photovoltaic systems, and large construction sites, we design and build not only standard transformer substations but also complex transformer substations tailored to customer requirements. We always have clever and economical solutions for our customers.
We don't look for problems, we solve them! Many of our custom solutions have amazed our customers. We bring expertise and experience to transformer substation construction, whether in a finished concrete building, in an existing building, as an industrial substation with sheet metal enclosure, or on large construction sites.

Every project is unique.
Our strength lies in the meticulous planning and design of customized control cabinets and distribution systems, regardless of whether parts of existing systems are to be modified or integrated, or entirely new systems are to be built. We prioritize reliability and personal safety.
Planning is carried out using state-of-the-art software such as EPlan P8. All distribution boards and control cabinets are built in the company's own workshop, tested according to current DIN EN standards before delivery, documented and receive a manufacturer's declaration.

From simple safety controls and PLC controls to process control systems, we create expert solutions.
From pharmaceuticals and the automotive industry to the paper industry, sawmills, gravel pits, hydroelectric power plants, and aircraft manufacturing, we increase the level of automation. With our building technology division, we have increasingly established ourselves in the market. We are a general contractor for complete electrical power supply in industrial and commercial buildings. From lighting and cabling to network technology, transformer stations, and distribution boards, we provide comprehensive services. As our customer, you receive everything from a single source. The project development and implementation of the entire electrical engineering system is carried out in close collaboration with the architect and construction management team.

Fast and efficient
Our breakdown service for industry, commerce, trade, and shipbuilding is available 24/7, 365 days a year. Our specialists arrive quickly on-site, analyze the problem, and resolve it.
DGUV V3 measurements and tests: Every company is obligated to subject electrical equipment to recurring inspections. We test everything from drills to coffee machines.
Live Working: Our specialists clean transformer stations and switchgear while live. Cleaning and maintenance are also carried out with the equipment switched off, including an inspection report for the customer.
