DFS Logistics Center
in Langen

With 5,600 employees and 19 locations, German Air Navigation Services (DFS) operates nationwide. The same is true for the LET Group, which employs approximately 250 people at seven locations across Germany.

Colleagues in flight consulting and flight information support general aviation pilots. In addition, around 900 technicians and engineers develop and operate the necessary technical systems – from radar systems to air traffic control systems.

DFS maintains a stock of more than three million components and spare parts for its air traffic control systems, such as navigation and radar systems, currently stored at two nearby locations. The new 8,800-square-meter building on the Langen campus will utilize modern storage technology to ensure the availability of all components at a single location.

In addition to managing all materials, the new logistics center will house the central maintenance department, administration, the DFS mailroom, and waste management. To ensure a safe and reliable power supply for all these areas, ESV's experts planned and installed new distribution systems precisely according to customer-specific requirements. All from a single source.
