DFS Logistics Center
in Langen

With 5,600 employees and 19 locations, Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS) operates nationwide. The same is true for the LET Group, which has a total of around 250 employees at seven locations in Germany.
Colleagues in flight consulting and flight information look after the pilots of general aviation. In addition, approximately 900 technicians and engineers develop and operate the necessary technical systems – from radar systems to air traffic control systems.
DFS maintains a stock of more than three million components and spare parts for its air traffic control systems, such as navigation and radar equipment, currently stored at two nearby locations. The new building, covering approximately 8,800 square meters on the Langen campus, will utilize modern storage technology to ensure the availability of all components at a single location.
In addition to the entire materials management system, the new logistics center will house the central maintenance department, administration, the DFS mailroom, and the waste management facility. To ensure a safe and reliable power supply for all these areas, ESV's experts planned and installed new distribution systems precisely tailored to the customer's specific requirements. All from a single source.
